Overview

The Infosys Communications, Media and Entertainment practice creates centralized order management and provisioning systems to support B / OSS stacks for wired, wireless, data and managed services across retail, wholesale, enterprise, and government lines of business. We renew existing services and implement rules-based provisioning to monetize existing B / OSS investment, while adopting next-generation network technologies such as Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Network (SDN).

We configure network elements and integrate order entry with network element management systems for service activation, inventory reconciliation and service assurance. Automated flow-through and common service models enable orders to be captured and provisioned in bulk. Automation helps to streamline fallout remediation and outage management. Further, it eliminates errors caused by manual provisioning. Built-in intelligence enables context-based execution of automated tasks.

Our framework facilitates smooth migration of order provisioning from legacy downstream systems to an advanced fulfillment stack. Continuous performance benchmarking and fine-tuning of system characteristics ensure scalability and minimize order cycle time. Our order management solutions support ‘BSS as a Service’ (BaaS). A template-driven, generic architecture ensures accelerated launch of new products and services, as well as high availability.
