Infosys planned, managed, and executed one of the first SAP S/4HANA1909 upgrades for a client using its proprietary Safe Passage methodology. Our solution used proven tools and accelerators and was executed in phases. This approach enabled comprehensive impact analysis and increased test coverage by deploying automated regression testing and early user testing. By adopting a fail fast-fix fast approach, we were able to establish the landscape and lay down clear change management processes. This allowed us to perform multiple upgrade simulations before deploying the live system.

Infosys executed this model upgrade for the client in a period of 5 months through a 4-system landscape. We delivered a customized runbook that captured the learning and provided a blue-print for rapid and risk-free annual upgrades.
