The client is a leading global manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. They provide fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.

The Solution

Infosys helped the client implement SAP S/4HANA cloud for their manufacturing and aftermarket businesses. Infosys leveraged Infosys Catalyst, part of Infosys Cobalt, for business process standardization, Infosys Data Services Suite (iDSS) for data migration, and Panaya for test management.

All the best-in-class functionalities of S/4HANA were activated and implemented along with Fiori-based user experience enhancement.

Infosys also enabled SAP Embedded Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Embedded Analytics for key reporting requirements, thereby unlocking the full value of SAP S/4HANA embedded software components.

The activity-based product costing module was implemented for the manufacturing business. For the maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) line of business, Infosys replaced the client’s heavily customized  work-in-progress (WIP) costing model with a standard SAP S/4HANA process.
