As part of their SAP S/4HANA journey, the client initiated a pilot program to undertake digital transformation by migrating from their 40-year-old custom-developed legacy system to SAP S/4HANA. They partnered with Infosys to help address data migration challenges in the pilot program.

Infosys helped the client build the template for two plants in the US. The legacy system was to be completely replaced by SAP S/4HANA. This involved all business processes including sales and distribution, material management, warehouse management, production planning, production planning detailed scheduling (PPDS), quality management, finance, and controlling.
The on-premises SAP S/4HANA solution was also integrated with a non-SAP dealer portal via batch jobs and radio frequency (RF) guns for warehouse leveraging SAP Internet Transaction Server (SAP ITS).
