The Solution

Infosys, in partnership with a leading systems integrator, adopted the bluefield implementation approach with selective data transition as the migration strategy for the client. This enabled the client to migrate to SAP S/4HANA on AWS with changes only to the required processes thereby minimizing business disruption and ensuring zero impact to processes that required no changes.

Infosys modernized the data and reporting landscape by adopting the shell migration approach with selective model/data transition to achieve a lean and clean BW/4HANA system on AWS.

Existing planning and consolidation processes were migrated from classical BPC to embedded BPC on BW/4HANA. This resulted in harmonized planning and consolidation processes. Interfaces were migrated from PI to PO landscape and effective dashboard-based monitoring implemented.

  • Migrated and converted SAP ECC system to S/4HANA 2021 on AWS using bluefield implementation with selective data transition approach
  • Infosys certified tools ensured 70% automation of code remediation
  • Over 400 custom objects reviewed/enhanced to use common cost object across the organization
  • Over 115 FIORI apps deployed
  • Deployed high availability and disaster recovery setup across SAP landscape
  • Migrated interfaces from PI to PO
  • Implemented dashboard for interface monitoring
  • Migrated to BW/4HANA 2.0 with over 600 reports and implemented embedded BPC
  • Implemented real-time FERC reporting
  • Migrated the reporting process from PowerB I/ BoBJ / MS Excel to Analysis for Office
