Bikramjit Maitra is Vice President & Global Head - HR for Infosys. The primary responsibility of HR at Infosys is to make every Infoscion feel valued, heard, and fully involved with the company.

Bikramjit joined Infosys in Feb. 1999. He worked with Infosys division focusing at the clients in the Midwest region in US. He was responsible for developing quite a few key accounts and relationships leading to substantial business growth for the region. He is a member of the Infosys process council which provides the direction of process movement at Infosys.

Prior to joining Infosys, Bikramjit was working as the head of the service delivery group of a software export organization. All told he has twenty six years of experience in IT services industry including General Management, Human Resource Management, Project Management, S/W Development, Network Consulting, Managing ISP, etc.

Bikramjit has done his B. Tech from University College of Technology, Calcutta in Electrical Engineering (1980).
