For this reason, the client went the whole nine yards and converted most of their application background processes into InfoPath forms and Nintex workflows, based on an on-premise SharePoint 2010 system. From workflow analysis and transformation planning to design, development, and post-migration support, Infosys helped this customer onboard the Microsoft ecosystem and do away with their legacy technologies with its gamut of offerings under Infosys Cobalt. Team Infosys began with a comprehensive assessment of their existing inventory of 200+ InfoPath forms and associated Nintex workflows. The in-house analysis accelerator helped fast-track the process of analyzing the inventory and categorizing the forms and workflows based on their complexity and functions.
What did we do?
Reduction in cost and effort
Helped the client transition to Office 365 Power Platform so that they can make use of Power Apps and Power Automate services. Removed dependencies on on-premise SharePoint farm and third-party products
Created templates for processes that are similar and then replicated them accordingly, resulting in faster delivery and a reduction of 40% in development time
Delivered O365 business applications which are available anywhere and at any time
The new business apps were created using O365 Power Automate service, which is hosted on Microsoft Cloud and hence there was no longer any need for on-premise infrastructure
Executed project using Agile methodology. Distributed volume in small sprints, each consisting of a mix of forms/workflows as per their complexity
