About Samad
Samad is the European head of the Infosys Knowledge Institute and leads the Industry research output for the practice. He has spent the past 20 years as a technology journalist, researcher, thought leader and innovator.
Most recently he developed Accenture’s start-up innovation practice in the UK, first setting up and running a series of start-up accelerators in the Fintech, Retail, and Health sectors, and then leading the company’s Open Innovation group in the UK, while also selling digital strategy services to clients. Before this he was that firm’s Technology research lead, having been a researcher a principle research analyst at firms such as Computerwire, Datamonitor and Ovum, and a writer for magazines including Risk, Information Age and Computer Business Review.
