Empowering Women and Differently abled

During International Women’s Day, the Trivandrum Diversity and Inclusion group, called SOUL conducted various activities to support local women entrepreneurs from underprivileged backgrounds, differently abled children in society, and women weavers who were affected by the Kerala floods. We gave them an opportunity to sell their handmade and homemade products at our campus. The initiative was a huge success, giving them confidence and motivation to do more. The organizations which participated in the event include Bhoomika, creator of mascot dolls woven from the ruins of Kerala floods, Helping Hands H2O, an NGO for differently abled children and Kudumbasree, a guild of ladies with a purpose to sustain life in society.
