Blood Donation Camp

AKANKSHA Team collaborated with BMC Government Hospital to organize a successful blood donation camp

The Blood Donation Camp was conducted by the AKANKSHA team at Infosys Bhubaneshwar DC in partnership with the BMC Goverment Hospital's Blood Collection Center. The program was set up in the ECC Building at the Infosys STP campus. Infoscions and housekeeping staff made their way to the registration desk, as the camp was set to start at 10 AM. Our volunteers had been working tirelessly to ensure the camp's success, from coordinating with the hospital to spreading awareness among Infoscions. And their efforts paid off – hundreds of willing participants, both Infoscions and housekeeping employees, lined up to donate their precious blood. The camp continued well into the afternoon, finally wrapping up at 5:30 PM. The success of the blood donation camp was a result of the combined efforts of many. The AKANKSHA volunteers ensured the smooth running of the event, from registering donors to providing refreshments. The hospital staff provided invaluable support and expertise. And most importantly, the Infoscions demonstrated their commitment to making a difference by donating their blood. The day was a resounding success, not only in terms of the number of blood donations but also in the positive impact it created. The donated blood will save countless lives, and the event itself served as a reminder of the power of collective action.
