Creating a conducive work environment for new mothers

At Infosys, we focus on both childcare support and the integration of women returning to work post their maternity. Facilitating a comfortable integration for ‘returning to work’ mothers, is the Mom's Net. This initiative was introduced by Infosys Development Center (DC) in Pune and inaugurated by a then visiting client Mr. Peter Thompson, Head of Enterprise Testing, WESTPAC, and DC Head Mr. Rajneesh Malviya.

Since then, a dedicated space has been created at all the Development Centers across India for ‘returning to work' mothers. The facility is comfortably furnished and equipped with desktops, lactation rooms, and interaction spaces. The Mom’s Net initiative facilitates learning and reskilling for returning mothers, helps them chart their development journey, participate in sessions with women leaders, learn from ‘experience sharing' by other mothers, and a whole lot more.
