Springboard Tabs Distribution
Increase in the Digital Literacy & providing additional devices for e-learning
Infosys Hyderabad DC undertook a significant initiative to expand digital literacy access across India. With a focus on maximizing the impact of 500 allocated tabs, the DC partnered with Nirmaan NGO. This collaboration enabled the distribution of tabs to two government schools and twelve colleges in Telangana. The distribution process was meticulously planned and executed. A total of 80 tabs were distributed during high-profile client visits to the DC, while the remaining 420 were allocated to the schools and colleges in Telangana.
Beyond the distribution of tabs, the initiative encompassed a robust training component Infosys Springboard, a comprehensive platform offering a vast repository of training modules, was introduced to both faculty and students, which is available for self-learning and helps in both upskilling and cross skilling. The CSR team demonstrated remarkable dedication and efficiency in executing this project. Covering a distance of 3100 kilometers within a span of 30 days to donate 500 tabs. This effort will have a profound impact on the lives of beneficiaries. This initiative underscores Infosys' dedication to creating a positive social impact and fostering a digitally inclusive society.
