New STEM Lab at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County

Celebrating the grand opening of the Infosys Foundation USA-sponsored STEM Lab

In February, the Foundation traveled to Seattle for the grand opening of the Infosys Foundation USA-sponsored ‘STEM Lab’ at the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. This exciting new space is a direct result of the incredible efforts of our Infosys Seattle office volunteers, who were crowned champions of National Volunteer Week in 2024. The opening of this STEM lab is a testament to their dedication to community service, which has made a lasting impact in the community and has now opened many more doors for both students and Infosys volunteers who have been invited back to serve as mentors to students at the club.

The STEM Lab offers brand new 3D printers, robotics kits, coding stations, a brand-new AI-centered curriculum, and much more. We would like to extend a thank you to Foundation Trustee Anand Swaminathan and Head of Employee Engagement Beth Kolman for welcoming us all to the Foundation-sponsored new space. A heartfelt thank you as well to Seattle CSR Champions Priya Jain and Vindhya Nair, whose efforts creating volunteer opportunities for their employees have made this all possible.
