SPRING - Giving Tree Program

Since 2009, Infosys China's employee-led SPRING team has partnered with the Giving Tree program through the Shanghai Charity Foundation to support underprivileged students.

Giving Tree is a project of Community Center Shanghai (CCS) in partnership with Shanghai Charity Foundation (SCF), SPRING team and our company colleagues has sponsored 1779 Giving Tree bags to children in need in last 15 years.

In 2023-year, Infosys SPRING team calling for donation from colleagues from all DCs of Infosys China and donated 58 Giving Tree bags as the Chinese New Year gifts to students of two migrant schools: 上海市嘉定区民办天宇小学 "TianYu Primary School" in Shanghai Jiading District (31 students), and 上海市嘉定区民办桃苑小学 "TaoYuan Primary School" in Shanghai Jiading District (27 students). Each bag full of new clothes, schoolbag, art supplies, thermos, and athletic equipment worth of 275 RMB.

SPRING team collected donation from 86 Infosys China colleagues and teams, paid the donation to Shanghai Charity Foundation CCS giving tree public welfare program account for purchase the Giving tree gifts from CCS Home Sweet Home, and got our Leadership, HRD, FAC team and volunteers great support in 2023 Giving Tree program. We received appreciations from School teachers, students, and CCS.
