Infy App Design Challenge

Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators

The Infy App Design Challenge, a partnership between the Infosys Foundation USA and PENCIL, an NYC based nonprofit organization, kicked off in December with a Digital Skills Bootcamp at our One World Trade Center headquarters. This exciting program connects NYC high school students with Infosys and subsidiary company mentors to develop an app that addresses a real-world need within their community. To equip students for this 4-month project, Infosys and WongDoody volunteers conducted a comprehensive workshop on app design and project management, providing essential foundational knowledge. We extend our sincere gratitude to WongDoody volunteers Ruthie Edwards, Matt Chen, and Murphy Wang, and to Infoscions Shona Kulkarni, Arun De Joe, Will Simmons, Ava Reiner, Jessica Sidney, Andy Schon, Phillip DeCastro, Pilar Lopez-Rodriguez, Suresh Kumarmahalingam, Ally Mullen, Kinjal Shah, and Snehal Parekh for their valuable contributions.

The Challenge will wrap up in June with finalists presenting their projects to panel of judges. Winning students receive iPads and will be honored at a recognition event hosted by Infosys Foundation USA.
