  • The Promoter of TEDx social media contest is Infosys Limited (registered office at Infosys Limited, Electronics City, Hosur Road, Bengaluru 560100, India).

  • Infosys is offering participants of the social media contest a chance to win a free ticket to select TEDx Anchor Program events, where Infosys is the presenting partner. A free entry ticket is the prize of winning the contest. Infosys is the presenting partner of 12-14 TEDx Anchor Program events in India and the contest will be launched for each event separately.

  • Infosys will not provide transportation to reach the venue or accommodation in the city, for the said event.

  • This contest is only open to anyone residing in the select city/cities where the TEDx Anchor Program is being held in India, has a valid Twitter/Facebook account, internet access, and is above the legal adult age, as prescribed by the Government of India.

  • All entries submitted must be in English only. Entries containing profanity or inappropriate content/language will be disqualified.

  • Only entries submitted in the prescribed format on will be considered for evaluation. Any incomplete entry will be deemed invalid.

  • An individual can submit multiple entries, however, repost/repeated entries of the same answer will not be entertained.

  • Only the entries received within the contest deadline shall be considered eligible.

  • Winners of this contest will be selected by Infosys on the basis of the content and appropriateness of their entries. The best entries received will win.

  • Infosys’ decision will be final and binding.

  • Winners will be notified either through e-mail or through telephone. Infosys shall have no liability for winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

  • If winner cannot be contacted or is ineligible or fails to claim the prize within two days from the time the award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

  • The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. Nor are the winners of one contest entitled to claim free ticket for other TEDx events.

  • By entering this contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold Infosys, its agency partners, affiliates and subsidiary companies, the Twitter platform, the Facebook platform, promotional agencies and all their respective officers, executives, employees, representatives, agents from any form of liability, damages, losses, or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, claims resulting from breach of third party IP and/or any claims resulting from the use of any language which is inappropriate or tainted with profanity.

  • All entries submitted must be in English only. Entries containing profanity or inappropriate content/language will be disqualified.

  • By submitting an answer, each entrant grants Infosys permission to use his/her name, biographical information, occupational information, educational information and the contest entry, without payment or compensation.

  • By participation, each entrant permits Infosys to capture basic profile details from their respective Twitter/Facebook accounts such as, but not limited to, name, age, location and gender.

  • All information submitted and captured will belong to Infosys and will not be shared with Facebook/Twitter.

  • Infosys reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and to modify the rules and regulations without prior notice.
