As part of the Infosys Topaz Responsible AI Suite, the toolkit helps developers build ethical and trustworthy AI systems. Designed for scalability and performance, it mitigates risks and ensures regulatory compliance as well as transparency in AI-driven decision-making.

The Responsible AI Toolkit leverages an intelligent assortment of defensive guardrails, which comprise of specialized AI models and shielding algorithms, designed and trained to detect and mitigate privacy breaches, security attacks, sensitive information leakages, biased output, harmful content, copyright infringement, hallucinations, malicious use, deepfakes and more. It improves transparency by highlighting the rationale behind generated outputs and embeds these checks without compromising on performance or user-experience and hardens AI models to be more resilient and aligned to responsible AI tenets.

The toolkit was offered to a cohort of institutions including startups, Infosys’ clients, academia, research institutions, industry bodies, civil societies, and government bodies during an extensive beta testing phase. The objective of the exercise was to incorporate feedback and strengthen the toolkit. These were also complimented by frequent market scans, that were conducted periodically on emerging threats and vulnerabilities. The beta tests were a resounding success, and the toolkit received wide acclaim from all agencies. We believe responsible AI is a shared responsibility, especially given the complexity of the AI value chain. To foster accountability and collaboration across the ecosystem, we have open-sourced the Infosys Responsible AI Toolkit.
