A leading European automobile manufacturer needed to develop a modern contract management system. This system would allow retailers to create a contract for the company’s fleet customers, following multi-stage approvals from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

The company used a number of legacy systems which had slowed down their service delivery. Infosys, in collaboration with a leading low-code/no-code platform, enabled the company to accelerate their service delivery significantly.

The Solution

Efficient contract management system speeds up service delivery, previously slowed down by legacy systems

We built a robust contract management system to address a load of over 30,000 contracts with around 100 key parameters for each contract creation. The response time for initial loading was less than 3 seconds and every action after loading took less than 2 seconds.

Legacy modernization using low-code/no-code platform

Re-designed the user interface to:
- Ensure that the contract creation process was as per industry standards
- Make the interface engaging and intuitive
- Include OEM’s branding guidelines
Proposed and developed a persona-based dashboard to give a real-time view of retailers or OEM’s contracts at various stages
Selected a low-code platform for faster development and use of out-of-the-box components
