Infosys Foundation USA opens Tech Innovation Lab in North Carolina

Offers learners 11,000 free Infosys Springboard courses for upskilling in GenAI and STEM education.

Charlotte, North Carolina – August 29, 2024

Infosys Foundation USA, a non-profit organization committed to bridging the digital skills divide, today announced the launch of the Tech Innovation Lab at Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, NC. The lab serves as a space for deep learning and exploration through the Infosys Springboard next-generation digital learning platforms offering of over 11,000 free courses.

Infosys Springboard delivers the latest in technology trends and professional skilling alongside virtual labs, secure assessments, social learning features, gamification and learning analytics, making the tool a crucial next-generation learning platform. Learners have access to extensive learning content including free courses in GenAI and emerging technologies as well as a vast library of educational tools for teaching computer science and maker education. Through individual account creation, learners can have a unique, personalized experience of curated learning paths, certificates, and collaborative features. Since its launch, Infosys Springboard continues to expand its reach to learners as part of the Infosys ESG Vision 2030 commitment to reach 10 million learners globally by 2025.

The immersive GenAI-led experiences, originally developed in the Infosys Living Labs, are designed to amplify the human potential of learners and visitors to the space. The Tech Innovation Lab features a GenAI Avatar, listening and responding to questions in real-time, and a GenAI-powered story generation wall called TogetherTales so students, adults and families can design personalized AI-generated creations.
