Indianapolis, IN – December 10, 2024
Infosys Foundation USA, a non-profit organization committed to bridging the digital skills divide, today announced a collaboration with four innovative STEM organizations: Miami EdTech, Infento, GoSprout, and Riders. This collaborative effort aims to expand access to cutting-edge STEM education and career pathways for Indiana students.
The initiative will equip up to 300 students across ten schools with the resources and skills necessary to thrive in an advanced technology-driven world. Through engaging STEM programs, professional development, and internship opportunities, students will be empowered to become the next generation of tech leaders in Indiana.
“Investing in early STEM education is critical for fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills,” said Kate Maloney, Executive Director of Infosys Foundation USA. “By collaborating with these industry leaders from Miami EdTech, Infento, GoSprout, and Riders, we can equip Indiana students with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in STEM fields and future careers.”
Here is a breakdown on each of these collaborations:
These programs go further by hosting engaging events for Indiana students to participate in. After students get the opportunity to learn the fundamentals behind engineering with Infento and robotics programming with Riders, they’ll be able to partake in exciting build-a-thon and hack-a-thon challenges against other fellow Indiana students in Spring 2025. These events will provide a platform for students to showcase their newfound skills.
Carlos Vazquez, Founder of Miami EdTech and GoSprout said, “By connecting future careers with powerful STEM programs in the classroom, we are investing in our future workforce and giving them the opportunity to succeed in an ever-changing technology centric world. We are excited to collaborate with Infosys Foundation USA to provide Indiana students with these invaluable opportunities.”
Max Ringelheim, US Director of Operations for Infento and Riders said, “Creating engaging and exciting STEM experiences in the classroom, where students can learn advanced 21st-century skills is crucial for schools to adopt at this time. The unique, advanced and engaging experiences that Infento and Riders provide will help keep students motivated in the classroom. We are so grateful that Infosys Foundation USA saw the positive impact these programs were having in Miami Dade County Public Schools and decided to allow us to bring these experiences to Indiana Schools.

Infento is a build-your-own life size electric vehicle product line. The modular hardware platform empowers students to build anything their imagination can think of. While using Infento, students learn how to build life size constructions while learning all about the fundamentals of engineering.
Riders.ai is a virtual robotics and coding curriculum and competition platform. The software empowers students with the tools they need for STEM exploration. While using Riders, students learn how to build and program simulated 3D robots in real time all while developing algorithms that expose them to early AI skills such as image recognition, and object detection. This innovative and engaging platform requires nothing more than a computer, a Wi-Fi connection, and a web browser.
