Infosys Successfully Concludes the 15th Edition of its Annual Technology Fest ‘Techzooka’

Infosys recently concluded the 15th edition of its annual technology festival Techzooka, which was centered around the theme “Innovation at Every Step”. The event, which spanned over two months, focused on inspiring creative thinking in five core areas: social, technology, service, process, and business model. It saw the participation of over 60,000 participants, featured over 600 virtual and in-person events across the company’s 18 delivery centers in India and 7 global locations, and helped foster a culture of AI-led innovation.

Some of the key events included ‘Avishkar’ – a workshop for employees on innovation and patent submissions, the ‘Innovation Summit’ where technological innovations were celebrated, ‘TechWit’ an inter-DC and inter-corporate quiz, hackathons, demonstrations of ‘Tech for Good’ initiatives, and ‘MyTechzooka’ that focused on innovating for customers, among others. Around 50 students from the Smart India Hackathon, the world's largest open innovation event sponsored by the Government of India, received expert mentorship as part of the Innovation Summit.

In addition, there were 15 engaging and insightful sessions featuring CEOs, CTOs, country heads, and industry experts, including fireside chats with Mohammed Rafee Tarafdar, CTO, Infosys. The event also had a platform for the children of Infosys employees, ‘Kidgenius’, which showcased their innovative ideas through creative projects, interactive sessions, and quizzes on generative AI.

Through the Infosys Springboard platform, Techzooka engaged with student communities to help them navigate their digital talent journeys. Around 1,300 students took the innovation pledge for embracing creativity and change. Infosys also collaborated with the Microsoft GitHub team to host GitHub Day at Infosys with workshops and fireside chats on AI in software engineering and development.

Launched in 2009, Techzooka has emerged as a platform that accelerates the implementation of technological themes in Infosys across units, accounts, and projects. Aimed at strengthening ‘learning’ as one of Infosys’ key pillars, this flagship program celebrates technology and innovation, bringing about a positive change in the lives of Infoscions, clients, students, and the community at large. Techzooka continues to energize Infoscions across services lines and geographies, providing a view of the latest developments, ensuring each Infoscion fuels the future, is focused on the future, and stays resilient for the future.
