Infosys Springboard Summit 2024: Advancing Digital Learning and Skilling Opportunities Across India
The inaugural summit gathered government, industry, and academia to recognize and enhance the impact made by Infosys Springboard
Infosys concluded the inaugural edition of Infosys Springboard Summit 2024, which saw the gathering of senior government officials, industry leaders, technology experts, and innovators.
At the summit, Infosys announced the launch of AI-powered learning features and new learning modules for Infosys Springboard that are designed to enhance and personalize learning experiences on the digital learning platform.
Infosys also announced that the ‘Pragati: Path to Future’ program attached to Infosys Springboard, which focuses on empowering women, will be extended to more than 10,000 female learners across the country, every year, to provide them with critical skills for career growth in the digital economy.
Infosys Springboard continues to foster innovation and leadership through campaigns such as 20Under20 and Ideathon, which are aimed at recognizing and rewarding the efforts of learners who demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and the commitment to preparing themselves for careers of the future.
Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, Infosys, delivered the keynote address discussing India’s emergence as a global innovation hub. In his speech, Shaji Mathew, Group Head, Human Resource Development, Infosys discussed the importance of Human + AI integration, and urged everyone to be a lifelong learner. Thirumala Arohi, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Education, Training and Assessment, Infosys, showcased the platform’s remarkable journey of driving digital transformation across India in collaboration with key stakeholders such as the government and educational institutions.
Pramod Verma, former architect of Aadhaar, UPI, and India Stack, and CTO, Ek Step Foundation, shared his insights on India’s digital journey and its impact on society. Other dignitaries at the summit included Shri. Anandrao V Patil, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, Dr. M.C. Sudhakar, Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Karnataka, Ms. Shilpa Nag, District Collector - Chamarajnagar, Sunil Kumar Dhareshwar, EVP, Finance at Infosys, and Sumit Virmani, EVP and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Infosys.
