Infosys Successfully Concludes the 14th Edition of its Annual Technology Fest ‘Techzooka’
Infosys concluded the 14th edition of its annual technology festival, Techzooka, a month-long event held between November and December 2023. This year, the tech fest, had a special focus on Artificial Intelligence, in alignment with Infosys’ Artificial Intelligence (AI)-first strategy. It also focused on the synergy between AI and Cloud, Vertical AI (Industry-focused), Responsible AI (Ethics and Governance), and AI for Everyone (Democratizing Potential).
The event saw participation from over 50,000 participants globally and offered various interventions to broaden their horizons through sessions such as ‘AI Ideathon’, showcasing practical applications of AI and Gen AI, ‘AI Factory’ workshops on the theme of AI, ‘TechWit’, an inter-corporate competition with a grand finale held at Infosys Pune Development Centre. One of the major highlights of the fest was the ‘UNBOX’ event, held in collaboration with TEDxPune, that saw thought-provoking discussions around AI.
Other activities included account specific events like AI Case studies, AI for Sustainability & FinOps called ‘MyTechzooka’ which had 13,000+ Infoscions participating. This initiative was aimed at unlocking the true potential of organization-wide initiatives such as Digital Skill Tags, Reskilling, AI-First, and Cloud. Launched as part of the tech fest, the ‘GenAI Certification challenge’, held on Lex, Infosys’ internal learning platform, garnered immense participation, affirming the growing interest and enthusiasm surrounding AI.
Techzooka's 14th edition not only showcased advancements in AI but also exemplified how technology can be a force for positive change, inspiring and involving individuals across various age groups and professional backgrounds.
For the children of Infosys’ employees, Techzooka 2023 had a special segment called ‘Kidgenius’ which featured AI workshops and contests, nurturing curiosity, and creativity in young minds.
Launched in 2009, Techzooka has evolved into a platform accelerating the implementation of technological themes in Infosys across units, accounts, and projects. Aimed at strengthening 'learning' as one of Infosys' key pillars, this flagship program celebrates technology & innovation, bringing about positive change in the lives of Infoscions, clients, students, and the community at large. Techzooka continues to energize Infoscions across service lines and geographies, providing a view of the latest developments, ensuring each Infoscion fuels the future, is focused on the future, and stays resilient for the future.
