Infosys Recognized on CDP’s ‘A List’ of Environmental Leaders

Infosys has been positioned as a global leader with an ‘A score’ for its work towards climate change in the 2021 list of Environmental Leaders by CDP, a non-profit organisation that runs the world’s environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. Infosys was recognized for its industry-leading climate action program with robust governance and oversight, creating shared value for the business, clients, local communities, and the planet.

Infosys received this recognition for its rigorous risk management processes, verified scope 1 and 2 emissions, climate resilience, and emission reduction across the value chain. The Annual ‘A List’ recognition additionally highlighted Infosys’ approach to infusing carbon neutrality, sustainability, emission control into its core values while helping clients accelerate their sustainability journey.

CDP’s annual A List recognized 272 companies worldwide from among nearly 12,000 companies on their environmental leadership list, based on their level of transparency and performance on climate change, forests and water security. CDP ranked companies from A to D based on their environmental performance.
