Infosys wins 2021 International Green Apple Champion Award for turning carbon neutral 30 years ahead of Paris agreement

Infosys has won the 2021 International Green Apple Champion Award for Environmental Best Practice from The Green Organisation - an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environmental group dedicated to recognizing, rewarding, and promoting environmental best practice around the world. The award honors organisations who demonstrate environmental best practices. Infosys was awarded for turning carbon neutral across all three scopes of emissions, 30 years ahead of the timeline set by the Paris Agreement.

This year’s awards witnessed more than 500 nominations from across geographies. Infosys was recognized for building a replicable, scalable, and sustainable carbon neutral program and co-creating community-based offset projects with wider goals of sustainable development.
