Infosys awarded the Overall ESG Leadership and Leadership in Equal Opportunity Awards 2021 by ESGrisk.ai

Infosys has won two ESG India Leadership awards 2021 for its overall ESG performance as well as for Leadership in Equal Opportunities from ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited (ESGrisk.ai), a wholly owned subsidiary of Acuité's Ratings & Research Limited. Infosys was recognized for its robust practices to manage environmental, social, and governance impact, and excellence in diversity and inclusion based on age, gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, qualification, nationality, and ethnicity of employees.

Infosys was among India’s top 500 listed companies by market capitalization to be evaluated by ESGrisk.ai based on the analysis of disclosures, stock exchange releases, annual reports, and news. Infosys was recognized for its key initiatives in FY2020 and FY2021 which include more than 60% reduction in per capita freshwater consumption over the past decade. Infosys became carbon neutral and continues to stay carbon neutral across all scopes. Infosys has 26 million sq. ft. of the highest rated green buildings. Infosys also offers more than 2000 learning courses and 29 lakh plus days of global training.

‘ESG India Leadership Awards’ is an initiative of ESGRisk.ai that aims at recognizing sustainable Indian companies and celebrate their achievements in the ESG space. ESG Leadership Awards was presented in 21 different categories covering Environment, Social, Governance, Transparency and Overall ESG Performance among others.
