Event Overview

The Infosys Privacy Symposium 2025 is intended to foster dialogue on contemporary data privacy issues, with particular focus on India’s DPDPA (Digital Personal Data Protection Act). Scheduled on 28th January 2025 at the Infosys Campus in Bangalore, to also commemorate International Data Privacy Day celebrated worldwide, the full day in-person event will have experts from the Industry, Government, Academia and Civil Society. The event is hosted in collaboration with our knowledge partners, Association of Corporate Counsels (‘ACC’), Data Security Council of India (‘DSCI’), and International Association of Privacy Professionals (‘IAPP’).

A series of panel discussions and talks will delve into various facets of data privacy that will include*:

  • Global Privacy Trends vis a vis India DP regulatory landscape
  • Data Privacy challenges and solutions in the Emerging Tech world
  • Discussion on DPDP Law (proposed to be facilitated jointly by MeitY)
  • Privacy by Design and role of PETs
  • Privacy Rights in the digital era and where to draw the line
