Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson – Director, Segment Sales - Generative AI, NVIDIA

Chris leads go-to-market strategy for GenAI software and large language models at NVIDIA. For over 20 years, he has led teams, organizations, and startups architecting software solutions and building technology partnerships for the enterprise market. He holds a M.S. in Computer Engineering.

Dr. Gopal Gupta

Dr. Gopal Gupta – Professor, Computer Science; Co-director, Center for Applied AI and Machine Learning, The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD)

Gopal Gupta is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas and co-director of its Center for Applied AI and Machine Learning. From 2009 to 2020, he served as head of the CS department. His areas of research interest are in automated reasoning, computational logic, machine learning, and explainable AI. He has published extensively in these areas. His group has also authored many software systems, several of which are publicly available. His current research is focused on automating commonsense reasoning with the goal of achieving advanced general intelligence (AGI). To reach this goal his lab has developed several advanced reasoning systems and applied them to solving practical problems in AI. His lab has also developed explainable/interpretable AI systems. His research work has also resulted in commercial software systems that have formed the basis of start-up companies. He has won several best-paper awards as well as the ICLP 2016 test-of-time award. Recently his research group was selected to compete in the 4th Amazon Alexa Prize Socialbot Challenge for 2020-2021. His research is currently supported by the National Science Foundation, DARPA, and by the industry. He obtained his MS & PhD degrees from UNC Chapel Hill and his B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, India.

Miku Jha – Director, AI/ML and Generative AI, Google Cloud

Miku Jha is a visionary senior technology executive with a proven track record of leading large organizations and driving transformative solutions for earth-scale problems. With deep expertise in applied AI, business messaging, ADs infrastructure, IoT, and mobile virtualization, Miku has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout her career. Currently Miku is leading the AI/ML Center of Excellence at Google, focused on innovating, accelerating and scaling the adoption of Google’s world-class Generative AI solutions for the ecosystem.

Van Lindberg

Van Lindberg – Partner, Taylor English Duma LLP

Van is an Intellectual Property attorney, specializing in the intersection of computer technology and law. He specializes in open-source law and Artificial Intelligence related laws. Van advises corporations with the legal issues related with training AI models, using develop systems with novel capabilities, using inference to generate new works etc. He was named one of "America's Top 12 Techiest Attorneys" by the American Bar Association.
