Meet the Speakers
Hod Lipson, Professor of Engineering and Data Science, Columbia University
Hod Lipson is a professor of Engineering and Data Science at Columbia University in New York, and a co-author of the award-winning book “Fabricated: The New World of 3D printing” and “Driverless: Intelligent cars and the road ahead”. His work on self-aware and self-replicating robots challenges conventional views of robotics, and has enjoyed widespread media coverage. Lipson has co-authored over 350 publications that received over 40,000 citations to date. He has co-founded four companies, and is frequent keynoter both in industry and academic events. Hod directs the Creative Machines Lab, which pioneers new ways to make machines that create, and machines that are creative.
Vivek Sinha, Global Head of AI & Automation, Infosys
Vivek is a seasoned leader with over 23 years of varied experience in the industry. Currently, he serves as the head of AI and Automation sales at Infosys, overseeing the company's operations globally. As a trusted advisor and executioner of ideas at the intersection of digital and energy transition, Vivek is passionate about technology and firmly believes that it holds the key to solving many of the world's problems. With his rich experience and in-depth knowledge, Vivek has established himself as a leader in his field and continues to drive innovation and growth in the tech industry. Vivek has been working with clients across various industries, helping them navigate their transformation journeys, with his expertise and guidance.
Shanker Trivedi, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business at NVIDIA
Shanker has 30+ years of experience in senior executive roles in the U.S., the U.K. and India. He is currently Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business, for NVIDIA Worldwide Field Operations. He has led worldwide sales and industry business development for NVIDIA’s Datacenter and Professional Visualization products since 2009. His objective is to exponentially grow NVIDIA’s enterprise revenues by focusing business development on lighthouse enterprise customers and leveraging go-to-market partnerships with CSPs, OEMs, and solution resellers & integrators in manufacturing, retail, energy, financial services, digital media, healthcare, telecom, government, and education verticals. Under his leadership, NVIDIA’s Enterprise revenue has grown to over $16 billion in FY23.
Shanker holds an M.B.A. (Gold Medal 1st rank) from IIM Calcutta and a M.S. in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi.
