Legacy RDBMS databases are no longer sufficient to deliver the experiences required to stay relevant in the current hyper-connected world. Couchbase 7.0 provides a set of features including transactions, scopes & collections along with a bunch of performance and operational improvements. These features make a compelling case to migrate from RDBMS to Couchbase. However, the question of migrating a highly normalized data set in the RDBMS to the relaxed normalization in Couchbase presents some unique challenges.
