Topic

"Fill Care Gaps in Opioid Use Disorder Management among Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries"

Medication Assisted Treatment, Behavior Modification and Activity Monitoring are the three pillars of a successful opioid use disorder management program based on CDC guidelines. We have seen very little change among long-term opioid users since these guidelines went into effect in 2016.
As we continue to see shared risk and innovative partnerships created between payers, providers and patients to achieve better outcomes and manage cost, technology can fill Care Coordination and Access to Care gaps to help us truly scale-up management of this epidemic.
