Decades of Excellence
As Infosys concludes 4 decades of excellence, what we see is that the story of Infosys is not just the story of a company. It's the story of so many amazing people – employees – current and past, investors, partners, clients and communities. These are personal journeys of setting benchmarks, and breaking them. Of traditions and transformation. Of work and values. A celebration of people that have made Infosys the epitome of humanity and humility, but also of excellence and distinction. As Infosys concludes 4 decades of excellence we are celebrating YOU. Share your Infosys story – everyone wants to know.
Abhishek Deshmukh
I had a memorable 12-year journey with my dream company, Infosys. And I still have the same feeling as I had on day one, one of immense pride.
Infosys is the first company where I got my first onsite to the US and it shows their belief in their employees.
The most memorable moment was my son's birth while I was onsite, and the support of my extended family (Infosys colleagues).
All the colleagues, managers and DMs are like family even today.
The culture, atmosphere and last but not the least, the Pune campus that is no less than a resort.
I learnt a lot and imbibed values which would be useful throughout my life.

My favorite campus
In 2015, I had the opportunity of spending five months at the Mysore campus of Infosys. Leaving back family was hard but going to Mysore was the best thing that could have happened to me then. Engineers from different parts of the country were on the campus, and I was both nervous and excited.
People have this notion about the training period being very difficult. But it turned out to be wrong. The hands-on teaching technique followed in Infosys Mysore was very effective, as we completed most of the learning in our classrooms.
Before going to Mysore, many people had told me that the time on the Mysore campus would be the most memorable days of my life and every word of it turned out to be true. Infosys Mysore gave me a beautiful campus life, the one I had craved during the entire four years of my college education.
We used to have classes throughout the day. I remember rushing to RC (recreation centre) after completing our daily assignments.
The weekends passed by watching new releases at the multiplex, bowling, playing pool, and studying whenever exams were around the corner.
Often, my friends and I went on trips to nearby beaches and hill stations. During my stay at Mysore, I visited Coorg, Ooty, Kunnur, Wayanad, Belur, Halebidu, Sravanabelagola, Shivanasamudra, Somanathpur, Talkad, Kannur, Bangalore, and Nandi Hills.
Infosys Mysore witnessed many firsts - from receiving the first salary to being the guardian throughout my journey on campus. Infosys Mysore did not just offer training but also gave memories for a lifetime.
I am thankful for my time there. I no longer work for Infosys, but as the saying goes, “Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion!”.

To many more decades!
Congratulations to Infosys and the entire Infosys family for completing 4 decades of excellence. I feel very proud to be an Infoscion. Infosys gave me a platform to start my career, so I will always be grateful.
My favorite memories were mostly at Mysore DC during training. I learnt so much, met many amazing people, and enjoyed a lot on campus. Those memories will always remain with me.
I was posted at Pune DC after training. It was a good experience. I learnt a lot from my teammates, colleagues, and managers.
Here's to many more decades. Navigate Your Next!

Proud to be associated with Infy
Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion! This is something I understood only after becoming an ex-Infoscion.
I am guilty of name-dropping Infosys in my casual conversations. And the reason for this is because I am proud to have been associated with Infosys.
I still remember the family group call after my name was announced in the final selection list for Infosys in our college placement. It was a moment of pride and joy for my family since I was going to join my elder brother, who was already an Infoscion.
My seven years with Infy have given me so much. It has shaped my personality – from being a college kid to becoming a professional. I made so many friends, went on my first international trip and created a lifetime of memories.
I can still hear the Mysore DC auditorium reverberating Celine Dion singing the anthem 'This is my Infy' Thank you, Infosys. I will always have love for you in my heart.
Balusu Srikanth
Infosys was my first job. I got selected through college placement on November 26, 2014. I joined on June 22, 2015 and my last working day was March 9, 2017. I went through 45 wonderful days of training at the Mysore campus. I learnt many new things here. The team work, team outings, team dinner, team movies and cultural events are excellent. I'm very happy to have worked in Infosys.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to work in the Infosys environment.

A memorable journey
On December 3, 2018, I started my corporate career as a Systems Engineer trainee with Infosys. Last year, on June 4, I left my job to pursue an MBA from IIM Rohtak. The thirty months with Infosys have taught me various things which have helped me in my MBA journey.
Some of the most important things are Time Management, Setting priorities, Avoid procrastination, Never miss any deadlines
Thanks to everyone I worked with for their guidance and support. The time I spent at Infosys was incredible, with moments I will cherish forever.
And as they say, Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion.

"Everything about this company is unique"
I am extremely elated to get this email and the opportunity to be attached to this name once again through this platform. Many thanks for this. Infosys as a name has always been very close to my heart and I continue to live the statement, "Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion”.
Today marks exactly a decade of me leaving Infosys (on Nov 30, 2012). I still carry memories of Pune phase 1 campus, building no. 1, my corner cabin and my colleagues, some of them still there and others who ventured outside.
Everything about this company is unique and special and I owe a lot to Infy for reinforcing my values, beliefs, passion and commitment towards work. I stand strong as a professional today and I believe my time spent with some of the great leaders and colleagues at Infosys has contributed significantly in my growth. Infosys has a work culture that builds great human beings along with great leadership, with absolute modesty. It was a privilege to meet Mr. N.R. Narayana Murthy in an internal event and follow Mr. Nandan Nilekani on his leadership style and philosophy.
My journey of seven years there had moments of learning, fun, achievements and camaraderie. Infy Radio was an amazing energy booster in those days. I can go on and on and talk about this company, lifelong memories. Proud to have been an Infoscion.

No doubt, Infosys
I am delighted to receive the 4 Decades of Excellence message from Infy alumni.
I am grateful to Infosys for being my first company, giving me my first income, and my first trip outside of my state. In July 2015, I began my corporate career with Infosys. I had a fantastic trip with Infosys from the Mysore campus to the Pune campus.
When my juniors in college asked me where I would like to work, I used to say, "No doubt, Infosys". Then I would talk to them about the amenities at Infosys, from training to working with people and places. It was fantastic to inform others about the buildings of Infosys in all regions. I miss all the fun activities, ethnic days at work, and the individuals I met there. I had a great time at Infosys and am proud to be an ex-Infoscion.
Dayana Kushalappa
Infy was an emotion
It was always my dream to join Infosys. I used to be indifferent while attending job interviews. But for Infosys, I tried more than ever. I even missed my sister’s wedding to attend the interview. I knew it wasn’t just an opportunity, it was an emotion.
I have good memories of when I had the opportunity to go around the beautiful campus and capture the best of it in my camera as well in my memories. When I would walk into the Bangalore campus, I would come to life. I also had an amazing client and team to work with. I always felt I was heard.
There were a few disappointments too as there were opportunities, maybe because we expect more from our own people than others (foreign MNCs).
It took me almost three months to decide to accept new opportunities and let go of Infy. You can guess how connected I was to it.

No doubt, Infosys
It's because of Infosys that I continued my career
It's because of Infosys that I continued my career till now. It's been 22 years of corporate career so far for me. Infosys laid the foundation for it by being more flexible to the breaks that I needed to take due to marriage, childbirth and accompanying spouse to the US, where they transferred me from one account to another and sent me to the US for an onsite role in the same place as my husband. I would have had to quit otherwise. Thanks to all my leaders who had been considerate and flexible and who took genuine interest in my career which has brought me to where I am now, an entrepreneur who is now an Executive Leadership Coach.

I was taken aback by the Mysore campus
I started working at Infosys as a Process Executive on December 16, 2019. I had succeeded in the interview held at Infosys Phase II, Pune. I was told that I must travel to Mysore DC for induction training after clearing the interview.
I was somewhat taken aback by how unfamiliar the campus and its infrastructure were to me, especially the GEC building. I finished my orientation training within the allotted time. In Mysore DC, I had a lot of fun. Pune DC was my work location. I was in Infosys for 1.8 years and I had a wonderful time. This was my first professional experience, so I learned so many things in Infosys.
Dhanya Sivasankaran
Grateful beyond words
It was a cold and rainy November night; Deepavali festivities were ongoing when I received an email from Infosys HR with an offer letter. A few weeks later, on 18 November 2002, I joined the Infy Sholinganallur campus. It was a moment of pride, joy, excitement, anxiousness & wonder.
Four months of training with incredible trainers, best-in-class facilities, and the challenging curriculum at the Sholinganallur campus felt like an extension of my engineering journey. It also helped me learn how to live independently, manage money, survive, and adapt to life in a new city away from home. With over 80 plus trainee batch mates from across the nation, it was a mini-India. The experience helped me learn the fundamentals of cultural exchange and acceptance.
I was lucky to find some of the most supportive mentors and great colleagues. The journey shaped me to become who I am today. Nandan and the other founders are leaders I have always admired. While working at Infy, there were many instances where my colleagues and I ran into them at cafeterias or elevators. They always greeted us with a smile every time we met.
Thank you, Infosys, for making me who I am today

A beautiful journey
My association with Infosys started in 1988 when I joined Infosys Digital Systems (IDS) and worked on Telex and Electronic Keyboard. In 1995, I shifted to Infosys Technologies Limited (ITL) and was a part of the Nortel, Evolving System Project and CCD team. I took voluntary retirement in 2019.
The three decades of my career at Infosys gave me wonderful experiences and fond memories. The organization, the working culture, the values, and the facilities were excellent, and I am grateful for the opportunity of being part of the Infosys family.

Best place for young graduates to start their career
I was part of Infosys for a relatively short term of six years. Infosys is the best place for young graduates to start and build their career. I was loaded with world-class facilities and excellent learning opportunities during my training at Mysore DC. Our batch was one of the luckiest batches as we got to spend a few more months for extended training. I cherish all the memories in Mysore DC and Mahindra City DC.
Proud to be part of Infosys and now alumni.
Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion.

Infy and I, we age together
I was born in 1981, so I see myself in Infosys. We age together, now into our forties!
Back in 2004, coming from a Tier-3 engineering college in a Tier-3 city, I had three options to choose from – potential post-graduation to choose from at least two IITs with a good GATE score, a nationalized bank job and the off-campus offer from Infosys. I chose the last and obvious, with programming being my passion, knowing I could go back to pursue PG with the same GATE score the next year if I did not like Infy.
I entered Infosys Pune. The atmosphere was ecstatic, the company was celebrating the first and big milestone of One Billion Dollars. I fell so much in love with the company that I never thought about leaving for the next 16-plus years. The journey spanned six roles – growing from Software Engineer to Project Manager to Senior Architect, working in five cities, and some years in the US.
In 2004, four months into my journey, the annual RnR happened at Hyderabad where my desk was on the same floor as the DC Head’s cabin. I went to the pantry wing to fetch water and I saw a man talking jovially with the DC Head. He had a casual chat with me. The man was so simple. Later in the evening, I saw the man on the dais – he was Nandan, the CEO. That’s how simple and approachable the management was and had an important mark on my longevity in the organization.
COVID-19 brought many unprecedented news and events, and unfortunately, I too had to take this hard decision of leaving Infosys in 2020 for personal reasons. “Missing Infosys” is a small thing to say, having spent most of my youth (22-39 years) there. However, as they say, “Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion”.

Infosys - my dream company
I joined Infosys in May 2011 - in Electronic City, Bangalore. I love the beautiful world inside the Infosys Bangalore campus - rich in greenery. I am grateful for the opportunities to enjoy leisure activities like swimming, salsa, and indoor and outdoor games. I joined the cricket team and had a great experience.
My team members and managers were incredibly supportive and encouraging. The projects I worked on gave me new exposure and helped me learn and grow every day.
After a few months, I moved to Infosys Chennai and had the opportunity to work with a talented team. I will always cherish the memories that my team and I created together.

The best part of my life
I received the offer letter from Infosys on 21 January 2008.
I was happy and excited to share the news with my parents. They were proud. My dad took a few days off from work to help me with everything I needed - from getting identity and medical certificates to buying clothes.
I joined the Infosys Mysore Campus. My family was worried about how I would manage things alone. I had never spent even a day away from my parents.
My friend Parsha Ramulu and I reached the Mysore Campus together.
During the training days, I made friends and created beautiful memories for a lifetime. After the training, I moved to the Bangalore Electronic City campus.
I had the best time of my life between 2008 and 2010. I spent 2.8 years in Infy.

I had just completed my 3rd year engineering exams in June 2004 when I heard about the Infosys campus drive on my college campus. I worked hard, prepared for the written test and interview, and cleared both. A few months later, I received an offer letter - that was the happiest day of my life.

I had an opportunity to be part of Infosys again and joined on 08-06-2015 till 10-05-2022. I am proud that I served my dream company twice in my 17-year career.

Infosys is such a great place to work!
I joined Infosys on Dec 9, 2019. It was my first job. I was delighted because my career started with my dream company.
At first, I felt uneasy because the training was in Mysore, an unfamiliar place, but after seeing the campus, I wanted to shift there. I made great friends. Our group (in the photo) was widely known in our batch.
After training, we came to Pune and started our work. Mrs. Sudha Murty is my role model. Kindness, professionalism, achieving goals are some of the many things I learnt in Infosys.
I left Infosys on Feb 17, 2021. But I will always have Infy memories with me. I really miss those days.

Infosys stands apart
After spending a good amount of time in HP and SAP, it was a conscious but difficult decision to give up the challenging professional atmosphere for my little angel who was on her way. It gave me the break I needed and the time my little girl wanted from me.
But little did I know that it would be a painful experience to get back to work. And to this day, I'm grateful to Infosys for being different from the crowd, a true professional organization that was ready to take that risk with me. The innings with Infosys was turning out to be my most enriching experience professionally. Personally too, I had it good as my better half also belongs to the Infy family.
What I've learnt from my time at Infosys and other companies keeps giving me the confidence to get back up no matter how many times I fall.

In awe of everything
From the moment I stepped into the Infosys Mysore campus, I was in awe of the unique buildings, beautiful campus, delicious food, in-campus theatre and the list which goes a mile long. I had never seen anything like that before.
From offshore to onsite, from meeting deadlines, stand-up calls to celebrating birthdays, Friday parties with colleagues (who are now lifelong friends), Infosys has truly made us the professionals we are today. Infosys has fulfilled so many dreams, journeys and adventures, for which I will be forever grateful.

The good old days
I miss the good old days at Infosys.
I was curious and ready to start a remarkable journey which began with exceptional training. I went in as a college kid and came out as a discerning professional. I was fortunate to work at Infosys and enjoy a heavenly campus. I am thankful to Infosys for everything I have learned and experienced as an Infoscion.

Title: “You’ll feel like you have come back to college”
"Favorite memory? Well, I have memories, immense memories, from the training duration till my LWD.
You remember a person or a place by the way it made you feel. Infosys treated me so well that I am going to carry the two and half years in my heart forever.
I don't even need to start talking about the campus, those who worked at Infosys and others, everyone knows about the bustling Infosys campuses, they are heaven. With world-class infrastructure, natural surroundings, fun activities, you'll feel like you have come back to college.
And as it's said, “Once an Infoscion, always an Infoscion."

A proud Infoscion at heart
Adrija, IoT Developer at Infosys.
Yup! That was my identity for two years and two months, the second-best phase of my life because the five months in Mysore DC (as a trainee) became the best phase of my life.
Infosys
Such an overwhelming emotion of happiness! First job, the first taste of independence, and
Mysore DC - it
is so surreal!
17th October 2016 was a bright sunny day. I reached the Mysore campus around 8 am with my parents. My parents were escorted to Fiesta Food Court while I boarded a bus to GEC2. After completing all the onboarding formalities, I went to my allocated room in the hostel. I did expect the hostel room to be grand since I had seen pictures, yet I was surprised.
I still cannot believe that the most beautiful and cosy spot in the entire world was my home for five months. Over the day, our batch became close friends as we helped each other through the various processes. We all went to Fiesta to bid our parents "Goodbye". Yes! We had all settled-in in just a day because the place was so comforting.
After three days of induction, our training started, and we plodded, practised, honed, and helped each other for five months. During the process, we became great friends, better souls, and proud Infoscions, ready to save the world with tech solutions like our favourite superheroes.
Our hard work paid off, and we all passed the exams. Thus, it was time to set off on our next adventure. That was a mixed bag of emotions. We were excited about the future, yet, upset to part with our friends. Nevertheless, we went to our respective locations, and I went to Chennai with four friends.
Our BPHR, Chintan, and manager, Saravana, were very supportive. Till now, we were like sponges. Someone would teach, and we would learn and solve similar problems. Projects were an entirely different dynamic - with real-life problems and unique solutions that one can rarely find in a book. We had to be imaginative and knowledgeable. It is an entirely different struggle, and even after five years and B-school, I am still struggling.
After nine months in Chennai DC, I went to Bangalore DC and worked on multiple projects with Harish, Ramakrishna, and Riayaz.
Infosys teaches us to be life-long learners, and the values help us bond like a family, irrespective of our DC, projects, skills, and background. I am so glad to have been a part of Infosys' journey.
