Disparate processes and systems had become a nightmare for the customer, manual adjustments across systems were resulting in over and underpayment to employees. Infosys consulted the customer on the approach for standardization bringing in best practices which helped the customer sail through multiple hurdles to stay compliant with local and federal regulations, at the same time saving effort and dollars on operational management.
The customer was dealing with Inefficient manual scheduling process in stores which resulted in cost overruns and waning business confidence on the tedious & error prone solution. Re-use of templates & scripts achieved better accuracy of results and timely rollout of Kronos v6.1 scheduling to multiple countries. Custom UI was built which enabled store managers to enter/modify labor forecast effectively and significantly Improves user productivity.
In most locations, the customer’s payroll & time track operations were manual and maintained through Excel sheets and Paper. Due to manual interventions, customer was facing issues with compliance and time capturing. Infosys leveraged GLOCAL (Global template, local flavors) design templates that helped to reduce the design time for each country in the multi country rollout. The team went above and beyond to coordinate with upstream and downstream global application teams to keep all systems aligned and on track which led to a successful global roll out.
Infosys developed a personalized Support model for Kronos iSeries systems with emphasis on user satisfaction and quality service. Innovation & Continuous SLA improvement through automation, tools and accelerators has resulted in faster turnaround time and Help desk efficiency.
