Carsten Egeriis

CEO, Danske Bank

Carsten Egeriis is CEO of Danske Bank. He joined Danske Bank in August 2017 as CRO and member of Executive Leadership Team, and in April 2021 was appointed CEO of Danske Bank. Prior to joining Danske Bank, Carsten was with Barclays Bank, in London for 11 years, and has had several CRO roles. Carsten holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Copenhagen Business School and holds an executive MBA from London Business School. Additionally, he is also the Chairman of Finance Denmark and Realkredit Denmark. Carsten was born in Denmark, but has worked in London, Lisbon, Hannover and Copenhagen.
