Former World No.1, 11-time Grand Slam Champion

Bjorn Borg is an accomplished professional tennis player that once held the World Number 1 player position. Borg turned professional at the young age of 14 and quickly became one of the youngest players to represent his country in the Davis Cup. In his relatively short career he won 64 titles with a 609-127 record and that included 11 Grand Slam singles titles. In his career Borg won 41% of the Grand Slam tournaments he entered, and his winning rate of over eighty two percent across all surfaces is a record. He is one of four players in the open era to win both Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year and the only player to do so for three consecutive years. Bjorn won the ATP Player of the Year Award five times and was the ITF World Champion three consecutive years from 1978-1980. He is regarded as one of the greatest to ever play the game of tennis.
