Enterprise Architecture Transformation for Australia’s Private Health Insurance Corporation
The client
The client is a leading healthcare services company in the Australia New Zealand region, operating mainly in the provision of private health insurance. It is part of a global healthcare services company.
Challenges
The client was entering a period of rapid change, embarking on amalgamating non health care businesses into its fold plus a business transformation of its core health care operation. As part of the strategic transformation client established a Global 2020 vision which defines strategic enterprise vision, business goals and principles. Client’s strategic architecture group wanted to have a dynamic scalable model of Enterprise Architecture within limited budgets for high demand on skilled high-end architecture talents.
Our solution
Infosys leveraged our SMART EA framework to develop an architecture review board and governance model. Our pragmatic approach leveraged insights based on rich experience and collective knowledge base.
Infosys established an “Architecture Center of Excellence" in India. The CoE was predominantly composed of experienced Infosys Architects along with a few key client team members. This was a unified team of client and Infosys staff operating across two continents producing architecture artefacts (enterprise, domain, solution) collaboratively to understand needs, stakeholder maps and relationship management across IS and business units.
