Jim Woodcock

CISO, MSAmlin

Jim has been recently been appointed to the CISO role at MSAmlin, which sees him responsible for Cyber Security, answerable to the respective boards in the MSAmlin group of companies. He is responsible for defining the Cyber Strategy and the delivery of a 3-year rolling cyber maturity programme. Jim is also responsible for Cyber Security Operations which is delivered by means of an outsourced model. MSAmlin are part of the Japanese MS&AD Group offering commercial insurance and reinsurance through legal entities operating in multiple regulatory jurisdictions.

With over 30-years’ experience in Information Technology, the vast majority of the time working in FS&I organisations including Barclays, Merrill Lynch and HSBC, Jim has a wide experience across a number of disciplines. Having worked extensively in Architecture, Delivery and Operations helps him accommodate the multiple demands placed on the present day CISO.

Presently Jim spends most of his time (and money) renovating a 19th century cottage in the English countryside.
