Jacob Jofe

VC, Index Ventures

Jacob joined Index Ventures in 2015 and leads our global network development team, where he focuses on growing Index's network of entrepreneurs and executives. He focuses primarily on enterprise startups, with a focus on open source and new data architectures; and fintech startups. Prior to joining the firm, Jacob worked in the Tech Investment Banking and ITDivisions of Goldman Sachs. While in banking, Jacob advised a variety of clients such as Salesforce, Dropbox and Elastic on of public and private financings. In the ITDivision, he focused on the strategy and the commercialization of internally developed solutions. Jacob holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Vanderbilt University
