Ted N. Geisler

Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Arizona Public Service Company

Ted Geisler is vice president and chief information officer for Arizona Public Service (APS). Based in Phoenix, APS is Arizona’s largest electric company and serves nearly 2.7 million people around the state.

Geisler is responsible for enterprise-wide technology applications and infrastructure, including nuclear IT and all field services across the company’s service territory.

Geisler previously served as general manager of transmission and distribution operations. He began his career at APS in 2001 in fossil generation, and has served in a variety of roles throughout the company, including director of investor relations, director of corporate strategy, director of transmission operations, and other positions in marketing and trading, renewable energy and finance.

He is engaged in the community, currently serving on the boards of Chicanos Por La Causa and Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix.

A Phoenix native, Geisler earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis on strategy, from Arizona State University.
