Lisa D. Roy

Vice President, Commercial Sales, NA, Johnson Controls, Inc. - Building Technologies & Solutions

Lisa joined Johnson Controls in 1994 and is currently the Vice President for Commercial Sales for the Building Solutions North America business. In this role, Lisa is responsible for the growth of the $9B field based organization delivering security, fire, HVAC, integrated solutions, service, Performance Infrastructure Solutions and Digital Solutions. Major focus areas in this role include achieving overall secured growth, defining the strategic direction and deploying the go to market approach, driving productivity and performance of the nearly 4,000 sales and sales leaders throughout the organization. Responsibilities also include the strategic selling teams of Connected Technologies, Enterprise and National Accounts, and the performance contracting organization who develops and implements broad based energy management programs, financial solutions and public, private partnerships.

Prior to this role, Lisa most recently served as the Integration Leader in North America for the Johnson Controls and Tyco merger that was finalized in September 2016. In her 25 years with the company, Lisa has held various roles through her tenure including Regional Vice President Sales, Vice President & General Manager of Security & Fire for North America, Vice President & General Manager of Enterprise Accounts, Vice President of Global Security Strategy, and Director of State Government for our energy performance contracting organization, as well as various sales and operations roles. Lisa currently serves on the board of directors for the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio. She also serves on the Global Sales Leadership team and is a founder of the field based Women’s Business Resource group with nearly 1,000 members in North America for Johnson Controls.

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of our eXtreme Learning Program (XLP). She lives in Louisiana with her husband and two children.
