Glenn Allison currently serves as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, Governance, & Innovation Labs for Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer with nearly 1,800 retail stores in 49 states and annual revenues of approximately $8 billion. He and his team are responsible for implementing a innovative technology architecture to support company growth.
Since joining Tractor Supply Company in 2015, Glenn’s responsibilities have included leadership of multiple technology functions, including Enterprise Architecture, Innovation Labs, Infrastructure Engineering, Network Services, IT Operations, IT Quality Assurance, and Project Management Office (PMO).
Prior to Tractor Supply, Glenn worked previously at Kellogg Company, where he led global architecture and engineering functions to support supply chain modernization using IoT and cloud technologies. Prior to Kellogg’s, Glenn held several leadership roles at W.W. Grainger, one of the largest eCommerce retailers in the United States.
Glenn received his MBA from the University of Chicago and Master of Science in Information Technology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
He currently serves as Vice Chairman for the National Retail Federation (NRF) Technology Leadership Council, Board of Directors for the Williamson County Schools Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, Board of Directors for the Nashville Technology Council, and is member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation InfraGuard chapter for Tennessee. For his work with emerging technology in the retail industry, he was named to the “40 Under 40” list by the Nashville Business Journal and is a lifetime member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization.
