Chief Information Officer, Black & Veatch

Barbie Bigelow is Black & Veatch's Chief Information Officer, responsible for leading the company’s digital strategy and the Information Technology (IT) services team, and providing our global workforce with the tools and technologies to deliver world-class client solutions and services. She has more than three decades of experience in IT, including leadership positions with Jacobs Engineering Group and TASC, a spinoff of Northrup Grumman, which provided professional services for the intelligence community and public sector as well as Lockheed Martin and IBM.

Bigelow has a strong commitment to higher education, serving on the Industrial Advisory Council for Computer Science at George Mason University and on the Board of Advisors at the University of Tennessee, Tickle College of Engineering. She also serves on the executive advisory board at Moxie Rocket and has founded two companies to help clients assess cyber risks and execute strategic moves while leveraging technology to accelerate growth and increase margins.
