Vineet Malhotra

Managing Director, Blackrock

Vineet Malhotra is a Managing Director at BlackRock based in San Francisco. He is an experienced Fintech professional with eCommerce, Digital Marketing and Technology expertise. In his current role he is focused on creating scale and efficiency in Client Operations whilst improving the Client Experience using technology based solutions. He is also the COO of Business Operations and Enterprise Systems within the Aladdin Product Group.

Before moving to San Francisco in March 2015, Vineet was the Managing Director and Asia Pacific lead for Distribution Solutions at BlackRock based in Hong Kong. Managed strategic eBusiness and CRM initiatives across Retail, Institutional and ETF businesses in Asia Pacific using integrated technology to deliver a superior online client experience.

Prior to joining BlackRock in February 2011, Vineet managed direct channels and overall channel strategy for HSBC Commercial Banking Asia Pacific. He has also worked with HSBC in the US, developing global commercial banking direct initiatives and in the UAE setting up HSBC's Retail and Commercial direct banking business. He started his career with Andersen Consulting and also worked with Ernst and Young in my early years. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants.
