Veronica is Sigma Alimentos’s Chief Information Officer, position she holds since 2013. She has more than 18 years of professional experience, six of those years in HR areas. During the course of her career, she has been involved in several projects involving change management, and post-merger integrations. She has also devoted a lot of time in the areas of cultural change and organizational development. Previous to her actual role Veronica was Head of Strategic Planning for Sigma and also headed HR and Cultural Transformation at Sigma and Alfa Corporate.

She is currently responsible for strategy, operation and planning for IT, information security as well as business process transformation in more than 133 sites across 15 countries.

Veronica has a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and an MBA from Stanford University. She has several diverse executive programs in leadership to her credit from Stanford as well as Harvard. She is married and is the proud mother of Fernando (15), Ana Veronica (12) and Mateo (10).
