Dr. Srinivas (Srini) Siripurapu is Vice President of Global Technology and has been with General Cable since January 2012. Srini began his career with General Electric Company and held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in product development and technology innovation.

Srini has proven experience in all stages of innovation — from ideation to development and commercialization of new products for multiple market segments including Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, Communication, Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare and Consumer Electronics. He is a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, holds an extensive patent estate and has been active in publishing in peer reviewed journals. He is a recognized industry expert in Functional Coatings for Overhead Conductors, High Performance Polymer Systems and Zero Halogen Flame Retardant Technologies.

Srini has a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
