Renee is Vice President of Digital Program Delivery at Aetna, and is responsible for driving the strategy and vision of the Digital Transformation program for the technology organization. She is closely aligned with the Consumer Health and Services business line to provide digital IT solutions that revolutionize the consumer health experience.

Renee joined Aetna in 1989 and has held several leadership roles in both business and technology organizations. Renee has held key IT leadership roles in several large programs, including Strategic Systems and Processes, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), ICD-10, Health Care Reform and Exchanges, and the launch of the Consumer Business Health Plan.

In 2013, Renee led the creation of the Multi-Channel Center of Excellence (MCOE), a team credited with building omnichannel solutions for many business areas within Aetna, with multiple patents pending. She also led teams that developed the Next Gen Enterprise Integration Engine for the Consumer Business program and introduced industry-leading technologies to build integrations across multiple vendors and internal systems. Renee represented Aetna at the Info Week Elite 100 awards event where the Consumer Business Platform was honored as a top innovative business technology initiative in 2016.

Renee is a 2016 graduate of the Strategies for Success program at Aetna and has been a keynote speaker at several industry forums and conferences. She is a member of Aetna’s Women’s Leadership Alliance, the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), the Society for Information Management (SIM) and the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. Renee has also been a supporter of the March of Dimes for the past 14 years.

Renee is married to Todd and has a 20-year-old daughter, Amanda. She starts every day with a morning workout and has run many half marathons over the past years. She loves to spend her free time watching her daughter on the soccer field, interior decorating and gardening. She is energetic and positive and brings a high level of passion to everything she does!
