Ayman Taha is Vice President of IT, heading the technology charter of Avnet’s Digital Transformation initiative. In his current role, Ayman is responsible for setting the IT strategy for digital, evaluating new technologies and the delivery of externally and internally facing digital solutions to help optimize customer experience, create new revenue streams as well as create efficiencies to help the business become more nimble. He reports to Avnet's Chief Information Officer.

Taha brings a breadth of IT knowledge in solutions architecture, delivery and IT operations across diverse areas of digital enterprise solutions, eCommerce, integration, automation and AI.

Since Taha joined Avnet in 2000, he successfully lead the delivery of multiple award winning solutions. Among the awards he brought to Avnet are the Innovation Award in IT Transformation in 2012 from SoftwareAG and the CIO100 award for leading the delivery of an enterprise quoting and booking solution in 2015.

Ayman attended ASU in Arizona for an MS degree in computer science and AAST in Alexandria, Egypt for a BE degree in electronics and communication.
