About this Event
Do you think the way companies hire software developers is broken?
Are you fed up with writing academic algorithms on whiteboards?
This is the hackathon for you. We’re inviting programmers to come together to develop ideas and code that will revolutionise the way in which we get hired – and to change the software engineer job interview for good.
Interviewers often have unrealistic expectations, or ask confusing and irrelevant questions, or put you through a long, disorganised and drawn out process.
We want to change that, and we want to change it with you. Together, we will find a better way to test the real-world abilities of a software developer in a small window of time.
Along the way, you will be able to explore individual discussions with real-world ‘Power Programmers’ and find out if a role on Infosys’ elite full-stack developer career track is for you.

Infosys welcomes all talented programmers in Texas with experience of Java, Spring, SpringBoot, ReactJS, AngularJS & SQL
All you need is a valid ID and your own laptop. We’ll provide the rest, including refreshments and pizza!
We’ll review applications on a rolling basis – the deadline for applications is midnight December 5. We have a cap of 500 programmers and will notify applicants accordingly.
All participants can apply via Eventbrite. All you need to do is to fill out the application with your information.
